Sori Brewing beers in TCBW 2017

We bring our A-game at our home town. Both barrel-ages will be available from the brewery, so stop by and get some bottles.

Friday – Session 1

Lacuna | Double IPA | 8 %

To our newest India Pale Ale, we spent a lot of time and effort in learning and finishing it to perfection. Now the missing piece from the puzzle is ready and we are representing it in Tallin Craft Beer Weekend – and it’s kegged on the same day as it’s served.

Lacuna is a New England -style Double IPA with 25g / liter of hops. Hopped with Vic Secret, Wakatu and Citra. Hazy, juicy and tropical. A lot of mango, passion and fresh hops in the taste. Very aromatic. To the date one of our favorite beers.

Raspberry Punch | Berliner Weisse | 4 %

Raspberry Punch is a wild and refreshing sour beer! This pungently tart, fuchsia red Berliner Weisse gets its bold character from a load of added raspberries and the souring lactic bacteria. The tartness gives a nice little punch in your face and tickles your tongue.

Friday – Session 2

Midsummer Melancholy | Imperial Baltic Porter | 11 %

Collaboration brew with AF Brew. Imperial Baltic Porter brewed with Kenyan coffee, Bourbon vanilla and smoked malt. People in the north struggle with their emotional roller coaster in the heart of Summer. It is raining cats and dogs anyways, so let’s celebrate this melancholy.

Anniversary Barley Wine 2017 (Cognac Barrel-Aged) | Barley Wine | 11,6 %

Special release: A magnificent Barley Wine aged nearly a year in elegant cognac barrels. Rich, dark fruit, honey and caramel notes balanced with oak and cognac from the long barrel aging. Celebrating 2 years of Sori and 100 years of independent Finland.

Saturday – Session 1

Resinous | Double IPA | 8 %

Resin is that thick, golden substance that trees produce. Same as resin this Double IPA is thick and sweet, except it’s loaded with amazing hops like Citra, Simcoe and Chinook. Expect an intensively piney, citrussy and fruity IPA with all those luscious and aromatic hop oils.

Passion Punch | Berliner Weisse | 4,2 %

Passion of the sour! Our tart, golden yellow Berliner Weisse gets its fruity and tropical character from a huge amount of passion fruit and lactic souring. Have a sip and feel the punch that puts a smile on your face. Serve cold and let the passion flow through you.

Saturday – Session 2

Sweet Mistress (Brandy Barrel-Aged) | Imperial Stout | 10,4 %

Collaboration beer with our friends from Södermalm, Stockholm. Together we brewed a beer that is both sweet and a bit salty, rounded to perfection in French brandy barrels.

Midsummer Melancholy (Brandy Barrel-Aged) | Imperial Baltic Porter | 12,1 %

Midsummer Melancholy is currently the best rated non-BA beer in Estonia according to Untappd. Kenyan coffee and Bourbon vanilla meet seven different malts. Pushing limits by aging this beauty in French brandy barrels for almost a year. Sweet, round and multilayered taste.

Although the branding on this beer is with a dark theme, it is to raise awareness on an important matter. Life is always a miracle worth living. If you are suffering and have thoughts on ending it, please give professional people a change and call local mental health hotline. Our brains do nasty tricks on us, don’t let it fool you to do dumb things.
